The secret to saving messages on Teams

Microsoft Teams banner

Have you ever scrolled all the back through a Teams conversation just to find that one message you desperately need? Maybe it’s a time and date to an event, or a document someone has sent you. It might even be a cracking joke your colleague sent you! Whatever it is, it shouldn’t be difficult to find. In fact, it should be super simple.

Luckily, it is super simple. It’s just that not many people realise it. Not until now anyway…

What’s is it?

It’s the ‘Save this message’ button that Microsoft Teams has included. A simple button that allows you to store certain messages for easy access at a later date.

How do you use it?

All you need to do is click on the three dots in the top right corner of the message you want to save and then click ‘Save this message’. Then just click on your profile picture in the top right corner of Teams and select ‘Saved‘. All of your saved messages will be saved here for you to look at.
