Alcom IT is a Buckinghamshire based IT and Telecoms business serving businesses throughout the UK. Formed in 1998 by husband and wife duo Karma and Abe to provide corporate-level IT services to small and medium-sized businesses. In May 2012 Matt joined Alcom IT as an Apprentice. He soon became a valuable addition to the team as his diligence, attention to detail and client care were second to none.
Alcom IT are proud investors in their staff and firmly believe in giving young people an opportunity to follow their passions. The Apprenticeship Programme is just one of the ways in which they provide that support. The other is through continuous training both professionally and in-house.
Over the past 9 years Matt has progressed through every aspect of IT at Alcom IT, from the Help Desk right through to Project Manager. It was during this journey that he discovered his real passion – all things Telecoms.
Alcom IT work tirelessly to supply good quality products and great services that will benefit their clients. Over the past 5 years they have built up a large portfolio of Telecoms services that includes everything from telephone lines through to mobile phones, sim cards and broadband.
The growth of the Telecoms department has created a role for a Telecoms Manager and Alcom IT have invited Matt to fill the role.
In response to accepting his promotion, Matt says:
“I’m really looking forward to working alongside our customers to improve and simplify their telecom needs, whilst still providing the Alcom IT level of service we are famous for.”
As our Telecoms Account Manager, Matt takes on the challenge of caring for our customers’ telecoms services. He even plans to introduce some exciting cutting edge services in the near future – stay tuned for that.
